Account Executive

We are looking for an outstanding Account Executive to join our newly launched online advertising team. This is a unique opportunity to be in on the ground floor as we build an advertising sales team. We are seeking smart, dynamic, creative and passionate candidates who know the Sugar brand and network. Your responsibilities will include understanding our customer’s objectives, building strong relationships with advertising agencies and Fortune 500 advertisers, creating innovative advertising solutions and generating new business. Frequent client travel and visits within your region may be required.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years sales experience selling online advertising including display advertising

Sales Marketing Manager

We are looking for outstanding Sales Marketers to join our newly launched online advertising team. This is a unique opportunity to be in on the ground floor as we build an advertising sales team. We are seeking smart, dynamic, creative and passionate candidates who know the Sugar brand and network. Your responsibilities will include writing advertising proposals and presentations, creating innovative advertising ideas that meet our customers’ objectives and budgets, preparing post campaign reports, executing on delivering sponsorship or integrated components of campaigns and participating in sales calls and presentations.

Requirements:

Advertising Operations Manager

We are looking for an outstanding Advertising Operations Manager to join our newly launched online advertising team. This is a unique opportunity to be in on the ground floor as we build an advertising sales team. We are seeking smart, dynamic and passionate candidates who know the Sugar brand and network. Your responsibilities will be to ensure the smooth delivery of all advertising campaigns on our websites including management, monitoring, optimization and trafficking. Additional responsibilities will include inventory yield management and working with account management, marketing and sales to increase revenues and the satisfaction of our advertising customers.

Requirements:

UI Design Engineer

Sugar seeks a talented UI Engineer with a unique combination of aesthetic design sense and implementation skills. You care just as much about the look and flow of a site as you do about the details of implementation. You brainstorm, mock up, and iterate on design, and then implement to the point of pixel perfection. You have strong opinions about what sites you like and why, and can point to beautiful sites that you have brought to market.

Responsibilities

Evolve feature and site ideas into concrete and beautiful UI designs.
Implement those beautiful UIs.
Engage in UI review with team members, partners, and users.

Requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years experience building and shipping beautiful applications.
Experience mocking UIs with PhotoShop, Fireworks or equivalent
Experience programming in Java, PHP (5 preferred) or equivalent web application language
Experience with CSS/DHTML/Javascript (Prototype/Scriptaculous a plus).
Has read Don Norman's The Design of Everyday Things
Knowledge of SQL and relational database structures a plus.

Sugar Inc. seeks a talented engineer to design and build next generation shopping functionality to enhance the breakthrough Java based ShopStyle user interface.

Responsibilities

Design and implement new features on ShopStyle from back (data modeling and management) to front (web UI), using the Java language and open source frameworks such as Tapestry, Hibernate, and Lucene.
Engage in UI design and review with team members and users.
Participate in the evolution and scalability of Sugar's e-commerce infrastructure.

Requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
5 years experience building and shipping high quality, scalable web applications.
Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in Java, C++, or equivalent language.
Experience with server side UI frameworks such as ATG, JSP, JSF, Struts, Tapestry, or WebObjects.
Experience with CSS/DHTML/Javascript (Prototype/Scriptaculous a plus).
Knowledge of SQL and relational database structures.
